16th Annual European CME Forum — Voices in CME-CPD
Registration and the Call for Proposals for Workshops and Call for Abstracts for Poster/Oral presentations will open shortly
The details we can let you know now is that the meeting will take place at the NH Hotel Den Haag in The Hague, The Netherlands, 8-10 November 2023, starting with pre-meeting workshops at 9.30am. The Hague is a beautiful city just a short ride from Schiphol airport or downtown Amsterdam.
The theme of this year's meeting is "Voices in CME-CPD". We will address this from three angles, we will look at external voices in CME-CPD, not just listening to learners or patients, but the many other groups and organisations that can help with information and data to support us when designing, developing or delivering CME, it overlaps nicely with the theme of this year's Journal of CME Special Collection. We will also examine our own, internal voices, how we can learn from and support each other. The third part takes a look at how we need to listen to each other, and how we can come together to work more collaboratively in European and global CME-CPD. During the meeting we will work to unravel who is calling for what by way of quality and independence, identify the decision-makers and influencers - perhaps even work out who is listening, to whom, and to what!
The meeting will be in-person only.
More information to come! Make sure you are signed up to receive our notifications, there is a link at the bottom of this page, which also gives you access to our extensive archive on this website.
Expanding the voices in CME-CPD
The Call for Papers for the JCME 2023 Special Collection is still open. This year the theme is: Expanding the voices in CME-CPD.
Lisa Sullivan is the Guest Editor, leading a multidisciplinary and global editorial team. The goal of this Special Collection is to highlight different voices that are included in CME/CPD and how listening to and involving these voices adds value and impacts engagement across the professions, different stakeholder groups and around the world. More information can be found on the JCME website.
In 2022 we finally met for 15ECF!
After three years of virtual activities it was very special to have met live, in-person, in Barcelona, for the 15th Annual European CME Forum - the theme this year was: Reevaluating European and global CME-CPD.
Take a look at the meeting page for the agenda, and if you were registered to the meeting you will still be able to see all the materials in the 15ECF Live! area of the website. We will redesign this website over the incoming weeks so that more 15ECF content will be visible to all visitors to this website.
